Michael Jackson died :(

Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the “King of Pop” and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday. He was 50.

An autopsy was planned for Friday, though results were not likely to be final until toxicology tests could be completed, a process that takes several days and sometimes weeks. Police said they were investigating — standard procedure in high-profile cases.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in the posh Los Angeles neighborhood of Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.

5 tips to gain and keep the loyalty of your staff

Even as the global economy
begins to show faint signs of recovery, times are still tough, and
businesses worldwide are still scrambling to respond. Layoffs, cutting
expenses and eliminating employee programmes are all common, knee-jerk
responses to financial pressure. But are they the right strategy for
the long term?

In
the haste to find new customers and keep the ones you already have,
it’s all too easy to forget one of the most important aspects of
customer loyalty: loyal employees. But it’s a proven fact: loyal
employees have a big positive impact on customer loyalty and retention.
So keeping employees satisfied and motivated is critical even – and
especially – if raises, bonuses and benefits are a thing of the past.
Here are a few strategies.

1. Keep communicating with employees through difficult times.

Even when the news is bad, keep your employees informed of changes
within the business so that they understand the situation. Don’t allow
gossip and hearsay to create unrest and tension within the business;
instead, build rapport and trust by being honest with employees. In
fact, try two-way communication and ask their opinions: Employees
appreciate being asked what they think, and may have some excellent
ideas for how the business can be improved.

2. Listen to staff concerns.

The quickest way to alienate your employees and damage morale is to ignore
them. While you may not be able to resolve all their concerns about
working hours, promotions and pay, the simple act of listening and
acknowledging their problems is valuable. Follow up on the problem when
and if it is appropriate to do so, and even if you cannot adequately
resolve the issue, inform the employee immediately so they at know you
at least made an effort.

3. Make sure change occurs at all organisational levels.

It’sentirely possible that staff layoffs cannot be avoided. However, to
avoid severely damaging the morale of those employees that remain, it’s
important for senior management to share some of the weight of the cuts
– either by reductions in pay, bonuses or perks. While employees
realise that some changes and cuts must be made in order to adjust to
the new realities of business, it will be easier for them to accept if
they see changes at all levels of the organisation and not just within
their own ranks.

4. Avoid micromanaging.

Your employees are likely under more pressure than ever – just as you are.
But even as expectations are raised and demands grow, now is not the
time to begin interfering in the work of your team. If you’ve done a
good job of hiring, you already have a competent group of people who
know what they’re doing, and becoming overly involved in their work may
actually cause more problems than it solves. So while it’s smart to
have an active interest in your subordinates’ work, try to avoid
stepping in until it’s clearly necessary.

5. Remember to say “thank you”.

It’s so simple, and yet possibly the most important thing you can do to
boost employee morale and loyalty. Thanking your employees for their
contributions, and recognising their hard work and accomplishments is
extremely vital, especially in a down economy when monetary bonuses and
raises are becoming increasingly uncommon.

Running a business is always difficult, and now more than ever. But with the support and commitment of talented employees, you’ll be much more likely to weather
these challenging economic times and emerge stronger.

not 100% effective as virus as often too small to be blocked from entering your
longs.

Although there is no vaccine available for swine (H1N1) flu,
ongoing work by several laboratories is likely to produce a vaccine later this
year.

However the three suspected cases of Swine Flu in India test
negative, but there is always a fear.

vomiting etc, which are very similar to regular influenza…go straight away to
the doctor & get thoroughly checked for the disease. Let us take all

“Precaution is better than Cure”

A very Good Optimistic Message To All

Once
there was a small kid on earth. One fine day it came to know that god is
distributing apples to humans in his place at heaven. The kid was so happy to
receive that news and it went with lot of enjoyment to heaven to get the apple
from god. There was a big queue standing to get apple from god and this kid also
joined in that queue. While it was standing, it was fully excited and thrilled
for the fact that it is going to receive in person from god’s hands. Its turn
too came and the kid showed its both the hands to receive apple. God gave the
apple but unfortunately the tiny hands couldn’t hold that big apple. Apple fell
down and got wasted in mud. The kid got so disappointed. The ministers near the
god informed that if the kid likes to have an apple from god again then it has
to again follow the queue. Having waited for so long the kid didn’t want to
return back to earth with empty hands so it decided to wait again in the queue.

This
time the queue has become even longer than the previous one. While waiting in
queue, the kid could see lot of people who returns back with apple in hands and
utmost satisfaction on their faces. The kid was so much disappointed and thought
why me alone didn’t get the apple in hand when all others were easily able to
get it. What is the sin I did that I alone should suffer like this. Now the kid
was so scared that it should not miss the apple again. Again its turn came and
god gave the apple to the kid’s hands and after giving the apple god spoke to
the kid.

“My
dear child, last time after giving you the apple only I noticed the apple I gave
to you was a rotten apple and that’s why I made that to fell down from your
hands. Having given you a rotten apple, I felt bad for you and I wanted to give
you the best apple in the farm and that time the best apple in the farm was
growing and that’s why I made you to wait such a long time in the queue. Here it
is. Now the apple that you have in hand is ‘The Best’ apple in the farm till to
date. Enjoy.”

So,
friends, sometimes it happens as even after we put our 100% dedication and
commitment things may get delayed or things may go wrong. Believe that god has
something great for us and that’s why this has happened. Always say, ‘Gratitude is absolutely the best way to bring more in
one’s life’.

Believe
this and see the world… Your world will also look green..

Grab the Power of Grapes

Have a handful of grapes for snack and enjoy the health benefits they provide.

Grapes come in many different colors. Some are green, some are white, some are red, and some are black. Each color also has different shades of each own. Grapes are a good source of vitamin A, C and B6. They also contain folate, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, selenium, copper, manganese, zinc, fiber and protein.

Take a look at these little amazing nuggets:

* Grapes are low in carbohydrate, and help fighting cancer
* One cup of either red or green grapes has only 100 calories
* The substances called anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins, which give Concord grape juice its rich color, may help slow breast cancer growth tumors, reported two recent studies. The same substances also may help prevent short-term memory loss.
* The antioxidants called polyphenois in grapes guard the insulin producing cells in the pancreas, and also may help to prevent type-1 diabetes
* The compounds in grape seeds offer protection against sun-related skin cancer, and reduce the risk of blood clots
* Drinking grape juice daily for a long time helps lower high blood pressure

Green Grapes

Good color has good flavor. The sweetest green grapes have a bit of yellow-green in them. Seedless grapes seem to be more preferred since they are more convenient and safer for children to eat.

Eating grapes helps recovery from anemia, gastritis, metabolism disorder, and constipation.

Red Grapes

Red grapes contain resveratrol, a natural phenolic antioxidant that can help blood vessels remaining open, and pliable from clumping together. Studies also claim that resveratrol can block inflammation that links to arthritis.

Grab the Power of Grapes

Drink purple/dark grape juice or similar juices three times a week to promote brain health and to slow down neurodegenerative disease, plus about 70% less likely to develop Alzheimer's disease.

Yellow Grapes

Grapes contain phytochemicals such as ellagic acid, which is a natural substance to help prevent cancer properties. They also have boron, a mineral to aid bone and joint health..

Wine grapes

Red wine is rich in antioxidants, and antioxidants protect the lining of your blood vessels from forming the fatty plaque that causes atherosclerosis; it has been credited to lower the risk of heart disease.
Tips for picking grape nuggets

1. Pick grape clusters that have plump berries and are firmly attached to the stem
2. An amber or honey-colored tint on Thompson seedless green grapes means they were left on the vine longer and are really sweet
3. Stash unwashed grapes in a plastic bag in the fridge for up to a week to keep them fresh
4. Store grapes far away from scallions and other pungent foods so they won't absorb the flavors
5. Rinse grapes thoroughly. Most conventionally grown grapes are sprayed with pesticides, so make sure to wash them extra well.

Grapes are great for snack. Wash them, put them on the table, and watch them disappear in front of your eyes.
